Since 2014, GIFEN Services has co-organized with RX France a trade fair dedicated to the nuclear sector.
RX France, a simplified joint-stock company located at 52, quai de Dion Bouton 92800 Puteaux - France and registered with the Nanterre RCS under number 410 219 364, is the publisher of the website www.world-nuclear-exhibition.com.
These two companies are each independent data controller.
The data protection policy or privacy policy of RX France affiliated to the RX Global group is directly accessible through the link https://privacy.rxglobal.com/en-gb.html
The purpose of this document is to present to you the processing that GIFEN SERVICES carries out on your personal data (hereinafter referred to as "Data" in Article 4 below) in relation to its activities to promote the nuclear industry.

Your Data is processed securely and in compliance with the EU Regulation n°2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 in relation to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR) and with all applicable French regulations, in particular Law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 in relation to IT, data and civil liberties as amended (LIL).

3. Purposes and legal basis for processing
GIFEN SERVICES carries out processing on the Data, mainly the collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, use and dissemination. Below you will find the table of purposes and their basis for authorising GIFEN SERVICES to process your Data (Article 6 of the GDPR).

4. The Data concerned by the various processing operations
GIFEN SERVICES may collect and process the Data of employees of its customers (hereinafter referred to as the "Customers"), its service providers, guests at GIFEN SERVICES events, applicants for GIFEN SERVICES offers and, more generally, any person wishing to obtain information on the nuclear industry.
Only the Data necessary for the purposes of the processing concerned is processed.
Some Data is collected directly from you or indirectly and others automatically.
a) Data collected directly from you
Consent to the processing of your Data is collected directly and explicitly from you. You may at any time exercise your rights as described in Article 9 below.
In the event that your Data is collected through a form, you will be informed of the mandatory or optional nature of the information next to the relevant fields.

b) Data collected indirectly
When Data is collected indirectly, GIFEN SERVICES informs you from the first connection that you can request that your Data be deleted from the GIFEN SERVICES database.

5. The recipients of the Data
The Data collected is intended for:

The Data may be transmitted to subcontracting companies to which GIFEN SERVICES may call upon as part of the performance of the services and to the extent necessary for the performance of the tasks entrusted to them.
The Data may also be transmitted to the company RX France to enable it to promote and organize the WNE show.
GIFEN SERVICES shall ensure that its staff and subcontractors comply with the regulations in force relating to Data and with this Data Protection Policy.
GIFEN SERVICES requires its subcontractors and staff to pay particular attention to the confidentiality and security of the Data.
6. Location of the Data
Your Data is not transferred outside the European Union by GIFEN SERVICES except for the consultation and export of the Data by the Customer, who is a data controller located outside the European Union. In these limited cases, the Customer, data controller is responsible for the execution of the Data protection
7. Duration of Data retention
GIFEN SERVICES retains your Data for as long as it is required to do so under the applicable laws and for the purposes defined above.

Once you have terminated your use of GIFEN SERVICES services, GIFEN SERVICES may store your Data in an aggregated or anonymised format for statistical purposes.
Notwithstanding the above, GIFEN SERVICES may also retain your Data as reasonably necessary to comply with its legal obligations, to enable it to resolve and litigate disputes and to enforce its agreements.
8. Security and storage of Data
GIFEN SERVICES is committed to ensuring the security and confidentiality of your Data in accordance with the rules of the art, i.e. by requiring an adequate level of protection as recommended by the CNIL.
GIFEN SERVICES regularly tests its internal procedures in the event of a technical or physical incident in order to guarantee and maintain an optimum level of responsiveness and efficiency.
However, given the structure of the Internet and networks, GIFEN SERVICES cannot commit to an obligation of security of result. In the event of the detection of a security breach likely to generate a high risk for your rights and freedoms, GIFEN SERVICES undertakes to inform you as soon as possible and to take the best possible steps to neutralise the intrusion and minimise its impact.
GIFEN SERVICES regularly backs up your Data in order to limit the impact of a security breach.
9. To exercise your rights
You may as of right access the Data that GIFEN SERVICES holds about you and correct, update, rectify, delete, object to, erase or otherwise modify your Data as soon as it is inaccurate, or has been processed in violation of the regulations in force regarding Data protection.
You may also exercise your right to portability.

In this context, you should include with your request the elements necessary for your identification (surname, first name, e-mail) as well as any other information necessary to confirm your identity. In the event of doubt, GIFEN SERVICES may ask you for a copy of your identity card in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations on Data.
GIFEN SERVICES undertakes to consider the exercise of your rights as soon as possible, except in cases where the law or a legitimate reason requires them to retain some of your Data.
GIFEN SERVICES reserves the right to charge the actual costs associated with your request within the limits set by the LIL.
If your request relates to the processing of your data by the company RX France, you can contact it to exercise your rights through its Centre de confidentialité.
In the event of an unsatisfactory response, you may lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (CNIL): https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes.

10. Modification of the privacy policy
GIFEN SERVICES reserves the right to modify this document, particularly in order to comply with the legal and regulatory provisions applicable to this matter.
GIFEN SERVICES will use commercially reasonable efforts to inform data subjects in general of substantial changes to this Data Protection Policy, in particular by means of a notice on the gifen.fr website.
Nevertheless, you should check this policy regularly. For your convenience, GIFEN SERVICES will update the "Last Updated" date at the beginning of this document, which reflects the effective date of this Privacy Policy.
Your continued access to or use of the services after the update date constitutes your acceptance of the policy.
