Sylvie Richard began her career in 1996 at EDF and held various positions in engineering and nuclear production until taking over the management of the Tricastin nuclear power plant (4 reactors of 900 Mwe) in 2013. After having been Deputy Director of the Nuclear Production Division, she is currently in charge of the Grand Carénage (LTO) program, in charge of the operations necessary for the continuation of EDF's fleet of 56 nuclear reactors (4.7 billion euros of annual investments).
She is a member of the supervisory boards of Framatome as well as the board of directors of Renaissance Fusion and the Agir pour l'Emploi Fund.
Sylvie Richard is an engineer graduated from ENSTA PARIS, and holds an Executive MBA from IMD Lausanne.
