Jhansi Kandasamy is the director of INL’s Net-Zero program in leading INL to become a national model for achieving net-zero emissions by 2031 through the development and implementation of carbon-free and carbon-capture technologies.  Kandasamy began her role at INL in October of 2021. She brings 30 years of nuclear industry experience and former Executive Vice President of Engineering for GE-Hitachi. She has worked for Exelon, Bechtel, PSEG and five nuclear generating stations. In addition, Kandasamy is past chair of US Women in Nuclear (WIN), co-founder of US WIN Nuclear Executives of Tomorrow (NEXT) and co-founder of the Atomic Allies and U.S. WIN DEI working group.
